Rose Be Sweet
In general, once flowers have been picked up from our warehouse, most flowers should be kept in a cool, dark location unless you are trying to speed up the blooming process. Always avoid direct sunlight and heat.
Keep flowers away from fruits, vegetables, and plants that produce ethylene gas. Ethylene in the surrounding area causes wilting.
Exposing flowers to warm environments (outside, a hot room, sunlight, etc.) will help the flowers bloom.
Every flower variety has it's own special care and handling instructions.
For expert Care Tips, Design Tips, and general flower variety information, we highly recommend the FloraLife Fresh Cut Flower Library For Retailers guide.
